Monday Motivation-- How to acquire some when it seems impossible!

Happy belated Fourth of July!! I hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend! I was lucky enough to spend some quality time in a swimming pool, enjoying the sun's rays! It was heavenly. Last summer I couldn't enjoy it as much after recovering from surgery, but this year, you better believe I am utilizing it as much as I could!

Do you like swimming? Or just floating around a pool?

When I left my in laws place, the view had been absolutely gorgeous! The backroads were full of panoramic fireworks. I know that sometimes people dislike them for the noise and the disruption it causes others with PTSD and animals. How do you feel about them? Did you enjoy watching them go off?

This week my first publication, Christmas Magic is going on sale for 99 cents! Do you enjoy short stories about the holidays? Then this is a perfect match!! The deal ends on the 12th, so get yours while you can https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XJ8C5HF.

This is the first full week of Camp Nanowrimo and I know personally my motivation as been thinning. So what do you do when you can't seem to grasp your motivation? Here are my top three tips for Motivation.

  1. Do exercise of some sort! Exercise improves blood flow and memory which allows you to think better. So to get yourself out of your funk, have a dance party or go for a walk. Not only will the change of scenery help you, but the exercise is helping on a chemical level in your brain too!

  2. Make small goals and celebrate success! If you have a daunting task, break it down into smaller sections. As you complete each section, reward yourself. Soon enough you'll be cruising through your goals!

  3. Take breaks! Sometime you just have to take a break. It'll recharge your batteries and you may even find some inspiration.

So hang in there my friends, we can do this!

Always,

Marie
