For this week I chose a steamy romance to read. It was a new author for me, but I couldn't put it down once I started it.
Madison Thorn was married to Tristan Thorn a Rockstar. When he dies unexpectedly, a stipulation in his will requires her to live with her brother-in-law in order for her to get her 10 million dollars … otherwise she only gets 1,000. She obviously chooses this arrangement, but her crotchety brother-in-law, Joseph, always has something to say about her.
Tristan's ghost starts to appear and then take over Joseph's body, they have to figure something out before its too late.
I loved this book. There were a couple cringe-y lines, like about his touching her womb, but overall I loved the twists with the ghost, magic, and romance vibes that this book has in spades. This is a steamy romance, so there are definitely sex scenes that are described and language, but it was really good.
